HOW TO MAKE THC/CBD MASSAGE OIL

Cannabis-Infused Massage Oil Recipe

Here are two ways of making a cannabis-infused massage oil; one using the buds, and the other using concentrates.

Using the flowers is a great way to produce a potent batch of massage oil. If you are the lucky ones who live in the legalized country and have access to the cannabis plant, it is perfect for this recipe. For a much stronger output, you can use the kief. For a little dampened effect, you can use vaped buds. Just remember that the type of flower you pick will decide whether the oil is CBD dominant or THC dominant.

For those who cannot get their hands on raw flowers, don't be disappointed, you can still make your own cannabis-infused massage oil. You can use homemade/store-bought CBD oil or CBD concentrates. For a potent oil, opt for the CBD concentrates containing 500mg of CBD in just an mL.

What will you need?

Equipment

Saucepan

Cheesecloth & Sieve

A Funnel

Glass Bottle (Dark Coloured)

Glass Bowl (Heat-proof)

Ingredients

7 grams of cannabis bud, grinded

1/4 Cup of Carrier Oil

A few drops of essential oil (can use multiple ones)

Instructions:

  1. Fill the saucepan with water, just enough so you can place the bowl over it.

  2. Once the water starts to simmer at medium heat, place the bowl above the saucepan. Make sure it is not submerged in water but is just slightly bigger than the saucepan.

  3. Take the carrier oil in the quantity mentioned above and pour it into the bowl.

  4. Add your crushed decarboxylated herb to the carrier oil, and stir the mixture. Allow it to be on the heat for 1-2 hours, stirring it every now and then.

  5. Once the mixture is immaculately blended, get it off the heat and let it cool.

  6. Strain the oil through the sieve and cheesecloth into the final bottle. You may use a funnel for mess-free work.

  7. You have a bottle of cannabis-infused carrier oil. It is time to add the essential oil and mix it all together.

  8. Seal the bottle and leave it for 24 hours. This allows the mixture to blend properly and the goodness to come forward.

Since your homemade oil does not contain any preservatives, it can go bad over time. The general timeline is 3 months, so make sure you make a batch that can get over in the given time frame.
